Read full description of the books Legend of Mace (Mace of the Apocalypse, #4):Well I have to start by saying that, I am going to really miss this series. Over the years I have become attached to the characters in these books, I was really able to relate to some of them and as far as the main character, Mace, he really is the unwilling, unassuming, hero of these books.
I picked up the original book, Mace of the Apocalypse, when I purchased my first kindle, I really wanted to read a book about zombies, there were soo sooo sooo many of them out there, I really did not know where to start. Completely by chance, I found Mace.
I want to compare these books to that of "the walking dead" in that, its NOT just about the zombies, its about how people relate to one another in very bad, bleak circumstances. The Drama is so much more than zombies eating brains, gore scenes and how bad everything looks, these books are about how people are going to react and treat one another when it all falls apart.
I feel that Daniel Williams nailed the different personalities and dialog between the characters, he did an excellent job at explaining how it all started and what it grew into and even after the initial threat was gone, how things got even worst.
I'm not big into giving the stories away and spoilers but seriously, I cried at the end of the 4th book, there was just so much emotion written into the final chapters, if you don't cry, you must be a serial killer.
I think if you are into drama, zombies, and a post apocalyptic world, you need to read all 4 of these books this summer. I think I'm going to re-read them this summer myself back to back they were so good!
Read information about the authorDaniel J Williams grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and at a young age felt the insane pull to tell grand tales of heroism and drama. Filling binders with fantastical narratives he would someday put to paper, he instinctively knew as a child that writing would become part of his journey.
After years of denying this truth, he finally returned to his childhood fantasy of author and artist. He hopes you enjoy his imaginary sagas. They took him to dark and wondrous places.
